With the death toll from opioids passing 64,000 this year the nation is in the midst of a crisis which requires federal action as well as supporting efforts from the outside. ADRF has this as a major focus, and is looking to research initiatives that promise better and more cost-effective treatments to opioid addiction. At the same time ADRF is also looking to parallel projects that can lead to educational programs that will aid in keeping young people from engaging in addictive behavior in the first place.
